Iowa
Dog owners are rquired to carry proof of vaccination against standard canine diseases. Rabies vaccination papers are required. If you are in the state for more than 1 week you are required to have a health certificate.
Nebraska
All dogs and cats entering the state shall be accompanied by a health certificate which certifies that the dog or cat is currently immunized agains rabies. Each town or city has its own requirement regarding the rabies vaccination (annual or multiple years). The certificate must be current within the past 30 days.
North Dakota
No health certificate is required for North Dakota is you are in the state less than 30 days. If you are in the state longer than 30 days you mush have a health certificate.
South Dakota
Any dog or cat imported into the state of South Dakota must be accompanies by a health certificate by a state or federal government veterinary official of the originating state or by a licensed veterinarian. The certificate must state that the animal has not been exposed to rabies, that it has been currently vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian, the date of vaccination, the type of vaccine used, and the date that the animal is due for boostering of rabies vaccination. (No longer requires an annual rabies vaccination)
