Dog Flu
We recommend that all dogs with exposure to other dog get the flu vaccine. This includes but is not limited to dogs that go to boarding facility's, dog daycare, dog shows, dog parks, hunting, and any other high dog exposure areas. The flu vaccine is a 2 shots series 3 weeks apart boostered yearly. Animals must be 8 weeks of age or older to be vaccinated.
The dog flu is really contagious, it can spread through coughing, sneezing, or direct contact between canines, the Board of Animal Health recommends .
