Dogs communicate their discomfort with a situation and a desire to end an interaction by using visual cues. These are depicted on this ladder of aggression. Recognizing the lower-rung gestures is important so a perceived stress or threat to a dog can be removed sooner
Brushing your dog's teeth!
It Is important to start practicing tooth brushing during puppy hood. This will help your puppy become accustomed to having a toothbrush in his mouth, leading to less struggling down the road. With practice and patience, you'll both get the hang of it in no time!

How much water should my dog be drinking?
Water is the most important of all the nutrients. Only a 10% loss of body water causes serious illness. There are many medical conditions that cause an increase in thirst; liver disease, kidney disease, and diabetes are few and often result in increased urination as well. Are you wondering if your dog is drinking a normal amount of water? Follow this link for a calculation based on body weigh. If your pet is drinking significantly more water than normal, call your veterinarian.
